Summer is the time to experiment with colour and frills, to seize lighter fabrics and feel the air on your skin. Festivals and fetes give you the chance to dress up and step out in style. 

We’ve looked at organising your wardrobe for work but what about putting together a few outfits so you are ready for the beach, cocktails or a barbecue?  Do you have a holiday or a festival planned? Summer means being by the water and having a cute outfit to wear there makes it all the more special. 

It’s a good idea to pack away your heavy sweaters and winter slacks to make way for summer dresses and vibrant tops.  Having a few colourful items waiting on your rail will boost your confidence that fun times are to be had this summer.  Take a moment to sort your rail into outfits for fun not just for the working week.  

If it’s all looking a bit bland, here are some suggestions to brighten up your collection. 

Slipping on a dress is the easiest way to tune into summer vibes. Marnie’s daisy print is playful as a layered dress.
